Privacy notice

This notice explains what information Retail OS collects, why, and what we do with it. We follow the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).

What we collect

• From this website: what you type into the contact form (name, store name, email, mobile number, type of store and your message) and the internet address you sent it from.
• From the app: the accounts you create for your staff, and your store's records such as products, prices, stock, sales and receipts.
• To keep it secure: sign-in times, the devices used, and a log of important actions such as voids and price changes.

Why we collect it

• To reply to you, set up your demo and send you a quote or a bill.
• To run the service for your store and keep your records.
• To stop misuse, such as spam through the contact form or someone signing in who shouldn't.

We don't sell your information and we don't use it for advertising.

Your store's data is yours

The products, sales and customer details you enter belong to your business. We only look at them when you ask us for help, and only for as long as that help takes.

Where it is kept

Your data is stored with our hosting and database providers in Southeast Asia, over encrypted connections. Passwords are never stored as you type them.

How long we keep it

Contact form messages are kept for up to one year. Store records are kept while your account is active and deleted when you ask us to close it.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Email us at hello@retail-os.store and we'll reply within 15 working days.
